The piebald is one of the prettiest colors that have come out of the dachshund family. Please rethink your decision and make piebald in the standard patterns.
Thank you, Mandy

My little Piebald Aslan's coloring is what set him apart from his siblings in the litter.
No one he meets has ever seen a piebald dachshund before and that
makes him special! I love his coloring and he has great conformation,
I wish I could enter him in a show- Piebalds should be legal!

I don’t believe a dog’s coloring which may be outside of what is considered typical of the breed should be reason to keep those dogs from being named a standard. Nature and humans are constantly evolving – it is a natural process and through this process variations and adaptations begin to show themselves

Between my husband and I we have owned five dachshunds.
Our sixth one is Dexter, our piebald and he is so handsome.
This photo is Dexter and his nephew, Tuffy.

I am a proud owner of a black and white piebald.
He is absolutely no less of a Dachshund because of his colorings and
should be included in the AKC's standard.
SAVE the Piebalds!!

I have a 4 year old piebald and she is one of the most sweetest dogs I've even had. What on Earth were the people that agreed to this were thinking was wrong
just because they have a different coat than most doesn't mean you can just
toss them aside and say they can't compete in a dog show.
Piebald's are one of the most beautiful breeds of Dachshund I've ever seen.
They should be saved and be able to compete in dog shows.

I have a 14 week old piebald named Daisy and
I get more comments on her than any dog I've ever had.
She is 100% dachshund in every aspect.
I do not understand why the piebald pattern is not accepted
as part of the dachshund breed standard,
but it most certainly should be included.
Piebalds are so varied in their markings and
I love them so much for being different.
Everyone should take the time to sign this petition,
regardless of whether you own a piebald doxie or not.

This is my little Oscar. I truly love my little guy.
Dachshunds are such loving, loyal and playful breeds.
I could go on and on. I just happened to come across this page and I support keeping the Piebald Dachshunds. I am looking to getting another Dachshund in the future and this breed has such beautiful markings. No matter, they are all such beautiful animals inside and out.

I had never seen a piebald doxie until I met the four legged love of my life
Franklin Otis. I think the piebald is beautiful and wouldn’t change a thing
about him or any other doxie for that matter!
Long live the Piebald!!!!

We can't believe such beautiful dogs would be excluded from the breed.
We've never had a dog as sweet as our red piebald Wilemena.
Long live the Piebalds!

I love Piebalds!
As long as they are healthy and conform to the breed standard,
I believe that they should be treated exactly the same as other Dachshunds.

Why shouldn't they be standard?
They are unique.
Patterns don't make the dog!!!
My Piebald loves and pleases like any other doxie!!

I am very amazed at the intelligence of my piebald.
I have had her for almost a year,
and I must say she is the most amazing pet I’ve ever owned.
And the compliments that I get about her are way too many to mention.
Her name is Cera Belle. She is not registered, though would love her to be!
But she is my baby, love of my life. I feel the piebald is very misunderstood!!
This is outrageous and needs to be stopped…
we should be able to show our piebalds as the beautiful smart and
strong breed that they are!!

I have a 5 month of Piebald Dachshund named Buster.
Piebald colors need to be saved!
They are Dachshunds, too!
They should not be segregated because of their coloring!
and I am tired of people thinking I am lying when I say Buster is a Pure-breed. People always insist that he is a mut, no Dachshund is that color.
Buster is fun and loving and I am a proud owner of a Piebald Dachshund!

There is no reason to discriminate against these beautiful, loving dogs.
I own 2 dachshunds one Piebald and one fuzzy (long and short hair parents).
There are no differences between them other than their obvious looks.
They are both healthy, capable pets.

This is Kirby the piebald and he and his human live in Texas
The AKC and the DCA should keep piebalds in the standard because
the piebalds are as gorgeous and smart as any other breed or type.

please list me as a signer of the petition
