Protect the piebalds! I want to save the piebalds. They are very distinctive and are a good representative of the dachshund breed. I have had people tell me that the never were interested in dachshunds until they saw the piebald and fell in love with their unique markings.

The Piebalds should be able to stay. They are very
beautiful and have been around for a very long time. I could not even dream
of not having them as a pet or in my breeding program. They should be able
to stay just like the rest of the other colors and patterns. I think taking
the Piebald pattern out, would be like saying. We are going to take out the
Red's and the Black & Tan's, I do not see that one happening.

My daughter raises Dachshunds and out of all the dogs she has I prefer the Piebalds. I will eventually own a dachshund and I will choose the piebald.

Piebald is a hound color. It should never be
removed from the breed.

While I don't own a piebald, I do own a mini doxie. It was the first dog I had as a child, and I've loved them ever since. Please keep the piebalds in - they're beautiful!!
