I want to save the piebalds!
I have been a dachshund lover all my life and have owned several. The
exotic pattern of these beautiful little animals appeals to many people. It
would be a travesty for the AKC not to recognize variety as a breed
standard. If having different colors gets more people interested in owning
a dachshund then why would this type of move even be considered? Seems to
me that it would be kind of like cutting off your nose to spite your face!

I want to see this pattern saved.

Please preserve this Dachshund breed. The Piebald Dachshund breed is beautiful and must be recognized and cherished.

I love piebalds...AKC is crazy for wanting to take them away. Maybe we should stop using AKC and see how they would like that!!!

I am the proud owner of two piebalds and four dogs that carry pie and am expecting a litter of pies momentarily. They are beautiful and unique. The pies should not be excluded - pattern has nothing to do with the conformation of the dog!!! Please Save the Piebalds!!!

I have a gorgeous male Piebald, and we love this gorgeous little guy, he makes heads turn, and people think they are awesome looking doxies, so save the PIEBALD here's a picture of him Thanks Jackie

I think that the Piebald should be included in the breed. I think it's very uneek and something more that just what they have in the breed already. If someone can put 2 breeds of dogs together to come up with a so called breed of it' own example ( pugapoo). don't you thinks it would be discriminating to the Piebald????? Please include the piebald to the breed ! They are a very great dog even though I own 3 scotties. Please add my name and state to the petition. Thank you.

SAVE THE PIEBALDS

Piebalds Unite! I have just bought a red and white piebald miniature dachshund - I fell in love with her sweet face and beautiful coat. Even though she is not home with me yet, I have been impressed by the beauty and variety of the piebalds. All of my friends who are dachshund lovers think the is gorgeous!!!! The coat I wear does not change my temperment or basic qualities - why would it be any different for a dachshund???

I am the proud owner of a 5 1/2 month old tan and black piebald. He is as much of a Dachshund as the dapples, sables, and brindles, and he would be VERY upset if AKC told him that he wasn't.

I love my pie! My male pie is the most loyal dog I have ever owned. We got our 1st doxy in my teens, I am now 50. There is not a single week goes buy that someone doesn't comment on how good looking of a dog my male pie SNOOPY is. PLEASE DO NOT try to exempt these beautiful dogs.
