Piebalds are one of the most gorgeous dachshunds ever!
Their "patterns" are so interesting and it gives them such unique personality.

It just stands to reason that if this lovely dog is a purebred animal, and it's part of the dachshund history, then, it should be part of the AKC standard, and acknowledged fully by the DCA!

I don’t own a dog at all right now. We have had a black lab retriever and a yellow lab as well. We’ve had numerous other dogs in between and after..I was introduced to mini doxies b/c of my youngest daughter. I have been in love with the breed ever since. She has a male, blue-black and gray dapple..I absolutely love the unique mottled and piebald patterns. I feel it would be so cruel to tell people that those patterns can no longer happen. It’s like telling people that they can’t interracially mix or an artist that his kind of art isn’t valid anymore..or certain flowers are no longer allowed to exist. I will have a doxie one day and sure do not want my choices to be limited by a handful of people…of all the things to try to have control over..

Please don't exclude the piebalds!
What reason conformational wise is there to disqualify
this beautiful coat pattern.
This color shows up in other hounds and is a true hound color.
Not be mention that it is a beautiful animal. I love my piebald Taffy!

Please recognize the Piebald.
It is a significant part of this breeds history and future!

As the proud new owner of a black and tan smooth piebald puppy, this little guy has brought so much joy and laughter to my life. Everywhere I go, we get compliments about his beautiful coloring and how different he looks. I think the piebald pattern brings a welcome variety to this beloved breed and should be left to continue for centuries to come. Save the Piebalds!!

I have a cream whose sister was a beautiful piebald.
There is no excuse for denying their admittance to the AKC show ring.
They are beautiful dogs.

My dog is named Molly too and she is a Red Sable Piebald with beautiful almost sky blue eyes. I think Pibalds are special and are as worthy a dachshund as any other. Here is my Molly's picture taken the day I got her.
She was about ten weeks old here.

I have one min solid red dachshund, I have been looking for a piebald because I think that their patterns are beautiful. What does their color have to do with their performance? Please save the piebalds!

I am representing my entire family in signing this petition.
We have two Doxies at home, a red brindle girl, and a red piebald boy.
Is there any proof? If there is proving this pattern detrimental to the health of the dog, by all means they can ban it. If not why? Piebalds are Doxies, too!

I think the Piebald variant coat for Dachshunds is just as valid as any other coloration, and do not support its removal.
Piebalds are a beautiful and well-known Dachshund color variant.

Please see a picture of our standard dachshund "Baron" and our beautiful Piebald "Daisy". I have never seen a white Dachshund before Daisy, but seeing your website shows that there is a place for Piebalds. They are truly beautiful animals.

There is enough discrimination in this world, we should value all variety's of animals and humans alike. People against piebalds should focus their efforts on more important matters such as over-breeding, puppy mills and backyard breeders. Honestly, Color Patterns???? I love my first dachshund piebald!
