This is our first batch of puppies, and we got two piebalds.
They are so beautiful, sweet and loving.
There is no reason they shouldn't be allowed in the AKC.
They are dogs too!!!!!

This is a unique and valued pattern of doxie.
We have 3 doxies, but just one piebald...our precious Bella !!!
 

He is the cutest, prettiest amazing dog and should be considered by the AKC .
Peanut and our Chuweenie Mimi are inseparable.
Peanut being a piebald does not take away from his prance, and his cool attitude.
I would own ten more if I could.
We get soooo many compliments on his beauty!!!

I am signing your petition to reinstate Piebalds as AKC acceptable ,
they are beautiful lovely dogs, they can comply with the Dachshund standard and there is no meaningful reasoning to exclude them.

I think Piebalds should be saved because they are beautiful little animals,
who are just as deserving of recognition as any other breed.
Whether they are brindled, dappled, or anything else, they are all weenies!
 

 

Is it too late? I think these dogs are beautiful and anyone who sees mine falls in love with him. Breeders are still producing them because they are so popular and people still want their beautiful colors and patterns. If it is good enough for other breeds, then dachshunds deserve to have the same respect.

I love Pies and will go the extra mile for them every time.
Small minds cannot think things through sometimes.
My piebald is also a softwire which is a little rare and everyone who
meets her thinks she is adorable. She is precocious and so funny!!
 

I was sold on doxies before we purchased our beautiful Lilly.
She will be 5 years old this month, in my opinion
she is one of the most beautiful dachshunds I've ever seen!
How could they exclude piebalds...

I have two dachshunds - one black & brown and the other a black & white piebald!
I believe in your cause, as my black & brown dachsie (Gretel) is AKC registered,
and my black & white piebald could not be AKC registered!

This is actually my son's girlfriend's puppy.
His name is Dexter and he is the cutest,
sweetest dog with best personality I have ever been around.
I have had other dachshunds before, but was not familiar
with this variety, until he came along.
 
He is precious and I love him as if he were my own dog,
so naturally I vote to keep the piebalds!!!

I have a piebald, and breed them.

I would like to sign the petition.
My breeder sent me an e-mail and wanted me to sign it.

I have a chocolate miniature piebald, her name is Zelda Our Chocolate Pie.
She is beautiful, she is very healthy, body structure is very good. She is
now ten (1) months old. She is very intelligent and learns very quickly.

I have had 5 doxies prior to the this one, but she is the first Piebald.
She is just as beautiful as any of my other doxies. Her pattern is so
pretty, her coat is beautiful. These are remarks I have gotten from
many dog owners and our vet. I see no reason for her not to be
allowed in the AKC or any Club. She is prettier than some I have seen
in many dog shows that have placed.

We have to work together like the horse owners had done to get the
appaloosa horses accepted many years ago. The appaloosa was from
NecPerce. Now they are show horses and hopefully this will happen
for Piebald Dachshunds and win at the major dog shows. There is no
reason they are doing this. There are animals they have accepted that
have faults and they still are shown and accepted.

I hope the breeders do not stop breeding these and they get really good
quality and healthy beautiful doxies.
