We have our first piebald who is now 2 years old. Morgan is the sweetest
and most handsome doxie we have ever seen. Please allow this breed to
continue as there is no compromise to the dog's health.
We are hooked...piebald owners forever more.

This is my first dachshund and she is the best dog I have ever owned.
When we take her out so many people are amazed at her coloring which of course is piebald. Here is our Koda.
SAVE THE PIEBALD!

I think that doxies are an amazing dog! I have had 2 of them. I think that the piebald should have a chance just as any other dog in shows! I actually think they are awesome and interesting looking dogs. I have actually had a dilute red and now I have a red brindle. I like the fact that my doxie isn't the normal color you see most.

I think the piebald should be saved because it adds character and
beauty to the Dachshund breed.

I own 3 Doxie’s myself, and hope to add more. Doxie’s are one of the smartest and most loyal breeds I have ever owned, and I will have them until the day I die.

As far as I am concerned, Piebald doxies are just as much a dachshund as any other color. It would be a crime against the breed to keep them from competition.

In my opinion if this is allowed to stand, it will be a permanent smudge against the names of the AKC and DCA.

Lilly is a piebald doxie, she is now 2 1/2 years old and the best dog in the world.
She has given me a litter of the best looking pups, which we loved each and everyone.

Fear is the motivation behind discrimination. Fear of competition.
You should fear this. Baller (my piebald) is gorgeous!
And his personality puts him ahead of the pack.
Of course, his brother Capone is a force to be reckoned with as well!
Save the Piebald? Puleez!
FEAR
the Piebald
!!!

I love doxies & definitely think that piebald is a color pattern that should
be part of the standard as it is with most hounds.

A Piebald dachshund is still a dachshund, the AKC shouldn't ban a dachshund just for the color pattern. They really are beautiful dachshunds and should not be treated inferior to other dachshunds.

I am almost 17 years old, and have a piebald myself that I have owned since she was born. Her name is Kilala. She is a red ,shorthaired piebald and she has some light ticking on her paws.
My Kilala is not registered, but I still think that it is wrong not to let a perfectly happy, healthy, functional dog allowed to be shown do to it's coat pattern.

Piebalds are destined to be in the show ring and
standers of the American Kennel Club!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for all you're doing to help make Piebalds part of the standard. We've had black-and-tans and reds. We have a lovely 5-yr. old b/t girl but we just rescued a baby-boy Pie and we are HOOKED! His name is Sprocket and he is a doll! We can't imagine that Piebalds would not be recognized as part of the breed standard. Thanks again!

I get SO many compliments about Quincy my almost 2 year old piebald dachshund that I can’t imagine the reason these dogs should be excluded from the standard just because of their coloring. Their varied and sometimes unusual coloring is an added benefit to that great Doxie personality.
This is the first dachshund I have owned and I am now a vocal and devoted Doxie mom.

I vote to SAVE THE PIEBALDS !

Add my name to save the piebalds.
I own 4 dachshunds currently-no piebalds yet. And I mean yet!!
Dachshunds are a beautiful breed-in all colors and patterns!
All dachshunds colors and hair coats are beautiful and to single one out due to color pattern is INSANE. Keep all colors and patterns.

Toby, my dachshund, isn't piebald but both he and I are horrified that the piebalds aren't considered part of the Dachshund Standard! It's a beautiful and unique coloring and is definitely an asset to the Dachshund table of colors. One of Toby's best friends is a piebald!!!!! Hopefully, DCA and KCA will come to their senses (especially DCA since they should be for EVERY type of dachshund!)

SAVE THE PIEBALDS!!!

I do not understand why the beautiful Piebald's are discriminated! They were accepted and in the show ring before this, so why now are they not? They are truly just as wonderful as any of the other colors! It is not the color of the Dachshund that makes the standard! If a red Dachshund and a Piebald were competing in conformation and the red had a roached back or an overbite and the Piebald was as near to the standard as possible, it would lose because of its color? It doesn't seem fair to be judged by color alone! I have a beautiful Piebald longhair female, Piper and she is by far the sweetest natured of all my wonderful Dachshunds. I vote to let the Piebald's back in the ring!

I love my piebald!
I see no reason for discrimination.
Their markings are beautiful! The pattern needs to be added to the AKC.

What difference does it make what color or pattern these adorable pups have. I do not have a piebald dachshund however, I am looking to get my 10 month old black and tan mini doxie a friend in the near future. I know he wouldn't discriminate against these beautiful dogs and neither should we!

Yep I would Like to Sign the Petition to Save the Piebalds.
I own a new wirehair piebald that is going after his breed championship and I will go after any Judge (Politically) if they attempt to throw us out of the ring.
I have a Wild Boar Piebald Wire that I intend to show in Confirmation.
I have already warned AKC that I will not take prejudice lightly!!!
And for those judges to watch out for me.
I hate people who think they can bend the rules to suit their own beliefs.
If you can’t play by the rules then you can’t play!!!
My loins are girded and I am ready for a fight.
